Working in Japan
When I first arrived in Japan was in November of 1996 I started working at the Hard Rock Cafe in Tokyo 2 weeks later.
Having a good staff to work with is key to running a successfull.

My staff and I got along like family. They were eager to learn and also teach. I learned as much from them as they learned from me.

And with as busy as we would get, even on New Years Eve, we would always take the time to have a little dance. This was the first dance for 1999.

We danced to the Y.M.C.A.

But with all the fun we had, there was also time for us to work hard. Serving an avarege of over 1000 people a day was hard work. Especialy in the small confines that we had to work in, but everyone know what to do, and worked well as a team.
And a team we became. AsI found my difficulties living in a foriegn country that i did not speak the language well, I could always count on my staff to be there for me. What I didn't understand to say, they were always willing to help me learn. And they also took me in as there family.
Now, we can't forget about some of the American traditions that we all know and love. Halloween was a facorite with many Japanese. In 1998, we celebrated the Kiss Pshyco Circus tour that opened on Halloween day. Our theme was a Kiss Halloween, but that was not all that went bump in that night.
The staff had a fun time getting dressed up for the Halloween festivities. And many of our guests came in costume as well.
Of course, I couldn't have all the fun alone. There were many who would join in and enjoy the dancing together with my staff
And everyone had fun
